Built on a Simple Idea
Laundromagic opened its doors in June 2011, born from a simple belief: that Holyoke residents deserved more than just a place to wash their clothes. They deserved a clean, safe, and genuinely welcoming space.
The idea came from Pam and Dr. Mano Malchandani, who saw a real need in the community and decided to do something about it. Even the name has a story — their son Chandler came up with “Laundromagic,” perfectly capturing the feeling they were after: effortless, a little special, and something the neighborhood could count on.
More than a decade later, Laundromagic is under new ownership and entering a new chapter. We're honoring everything that made this place a community staple — while modernizing the space, expanding our services, and raising the bar. Because after all these years, Holyoke deserves nothing less.
